David Gregory was known as the "firebrand in the front row" when he served as NBC White House press correspondent during the George W. Bush administration and was named one of Washington's 50 best and most influential journalists by Washingtonian magazine. He has covered the Obama administration from all angles, reporting extensively on the economy, health care reform and the ongoing wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Gregory is also a regular network analyst and serves as a substitute anchor for "Today" and "Nightly News with Brian Williams."
