How do I propose a speaker for CityClub?
Q: Who may attend CityClub forums?
A: CityClub forums are open to the general public. CityClub Members and their guests receive discounted tickets.
iQ: How do I make reservations?
A: You can make a reservation online, over the phone, or by sending us an email.
Q: What type of payment does CityClub accept?
A: We accept Visa, Mastercard, check and cash. If you would like to pay at the door, we require a credit card to hold your space. If you wish to send a check please reserve your space in advance by calling 206.682.7395. We request that all payment arrive no later than three days prior to the event. You may also come to our office, at 1904 Third Avenue, Suite 622, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and drop off payment personally.
Q: How can I cancel my reservation?
A: You may cancel your reservation for a full refund up to three business days prior to any event. Due to the advance planning needs of the venues where we hold our events, there is no cancellation for refund after that time. You are free to send a replacement when you are not able to attend.
Q: What if I come late?
A: We ask that if you expect to be late to a forum, please call in advance so that we can hold your seat. Unless notifed, meals are forfeited after 12:30 p.m.
Q: Does CityClub validate parking for events?
A: CityClub does not validate parking.
Q: Can I come to a forum without paying for a lunch?
A: Yes! At most CityClub forums (the exception being fundraisers) we reserve some space for those who wish to come for coffee only. The cost for this is normally five dollars for members and eight dollars for non-members. To make coffee reservations call us at 206.682.7395 and tell the person you'd like to reserve for coffee only.
Q: How do I become a member?
A: Anyone can be a CityClub member. You can visit our become a member page to download an apllication, or you can call or write us.
Q: How can I help plan CityClub forums?
A: Selecting and planning each CityClub forum is the responsibility of CityClub's forum Committee and various Task Forces. To learn more about these committees, click here
Q: How do I propose a speaker or topic for a CityClub forum?
A: We are always looking for forum ideas and speakers. Please send ideas and materials to CityClub and they will be passed on to the appropriate committee.
