The League of Women Voters of Klickitat and Skamania Counties, the Lyle Community Council, the Goldendale Sentinel and The Columbia Gorge News are co-sponsoring a Candidates Forum for three races: Sheriff, County Commissioner #2, and PUD Commissioner. It will be held on October 15, 2026, at the Lyle Lions Club, 503 Highway 14, Lyle, Washington, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. The sponsors request questions for the candidates be submitted on or before Friday, October 9 via email to lwv.klickitat.skamania@gmail.com. Questions may also be submitted in person at the event. The forum may be recorded and posted on YouTube (search lwv ks) after the event.
