In 2024, Seattle CityClub is launching its Civically Engaged Youth Council (CEYC). The CEYC will be comprised of high school and college aged students across Western and Central Washington. Led by its peers, the CEYC will be provided opportunities to examine the value and impediments of free speech; discuss and learn about national and international issues of critical importance; and be challenged to discover ways in which they can actively participate in public life.

The CEYC will kick off at our Civic Cocktail event on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. The CEYC centered event will feature a panel of the Council’s leadership, who will share their backgrounds in civic engagement and ideas for future activities, including the upcoming regional and statewide elections and debates. A member of the CEYC leadership will also have a spot on the Seattle CityClub Board of Directors.
