Meredith Stone has nearly 20 years’ experience in nonprofit program and event management. Most recently, Meredith worked with Presidio Graduate School managing their student programs in Seattle and served as an organizational leadership teaching assistant at the San Francisco campus. She previously spent over eight years managing outdoor leadership programs with the Student Conservation Association, and before that, coordinated fundraising and special events for Chicken Soup Brigade/Lifelong AIDS Alliance. She was a long-time volunteer, board member and Director of Community Involvement for Camp Ten Trees, a place for diverse youth in the LGBTQ+ community. She has served as a facilitator with the Seattle Race and Social Justice Initiative, a citywide effort to end institutionalized racism and race-based disparities in city government. She also was an instructor and facilitator for Home Alive’s anti-oppression, self-defense and boundary-setting workshops for over ten years.
