Introducing Seattle CityClub’s 2024 Membership Program

Dear Supporter,

Since 1980, Seattle CityClub’s mission has been to inform, connect, and engage the public to strengthen the civic health of our region. It’s our vision, that along with natural wonder, innovative business, and vibrant culture, the Puget Sound region is defined by informed people engaged with their leaders in effective democracy.

Now, more than ever, the need for civic engagement and civil discourse is paramount. This means being able to come together in safe spaces (virtual or in-person), learn from one another, exchange ideas, and have respectful conversations around topics where we have different points of view.

Civic Cocktail is our monthly program where we gather to learn from civic leaders, community leaders, thought leaders, and subject matter experts on topics and issues that impact us across Greater Seattle. In 2023, we’ve covered everything from Jobs and Affordability to Improving Accessibility to Higher Education in Washington State. We’ve hosted a fireside chat and Q&A with Mayor Bruce Harrell and spoke with BIPOC state legislators in Snohomish County.

Civic Cocktail is also a place to convene socially with fellow employees (both those who work in the office and those who may work in a remote setting) and connect with a diverse array of community members for personal or professional networking.

I am pleased to introduce our Civically Engaged Organization (CEO) membership. This membership allows everyone in your organization to attend our monthly Civic Cocktail throughout the year. We also offer individual memberships. Members also have the opportunity for special meet and greets with event speakers. In addition, membership comes with special discounts for other Seattle CityClub programs and events, including Civic Boot Camp, Legislative Preview, and Year In Review.

Finally, your membership will contribute to the sustainability of our organization and allows Seattle CityClub to continue to deliver and model civic engagement and civil discourse as we have for the past 43 years.

I hope you will join us as a CEO member today, and I look forward to seeing you at a future Civic Cocktail!
